The Qu'ran Speaks on the Torah and the Gospels

Audio which explores what the Koran says about the Torah and the Gospels. Makes the case FROM THE KORAN that the Koran teaches that an uncorrupted, God-inspired Torah and Gospels were held by Christians and Jews at the time of the Islamic Prophet Mohammed. Also shows that these are the same texts that are with us today. The Koran does not speak well of those who "believe a part and reject a part" of The Book (God's revelation to man in the Torah, Gospels and Qu'ran as in "The People of the Book" referring not just to Muslims but those of these other faiths as well).

Another year has begun

Time is so precious. Yet you can't see it or touch it. You can feel it. I guess you can see it on our faces and our bodies. But you can not see time itself. Movies are made about people going back in time to change things or to learn something from the past. Some go forward in time to see what the future will bring. History is recorded events of what happened in past times.
The Bible covers everything we need to know. It gives record of what happened from the very beginning of time until the very end of time as we will know it and everything in between. It is very good to know that in these turbulent times that we have the Comforter that Jesus promised. God keeps His promises. The Bible, the Word of God, informs us that we will have trials and tribulations. Jesus said that those who believed on Him and asked him to be Lord of their lives he would then send the Holy Ghost. A man named Nicodemus said to Jesus that he knew that Jesus was a teacher that came from God because no man can do those miracles that thou doest, except God be with him. Jesus replied Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? Jesus said unless a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. John 3:1-21 The time we are given should be used wisely. It is wise to seek the kingdom of God and all Righteousness that all these things will be added unto you. The time has come when we have to make serious choices.
The actor Heath Ledger is a good example of this. We can live for only so long. Eventually are time will end. Most of us believe that Mr Ledger's life was cut short for what ever reason. Did he make wise choices in his life? We don't know but time will tell. Things will come out about his life and we will learn a lot about him. Did he chose Jesus Christ for his Lord and Savior? Did he teach his little daughter about the word of God? I don't know what he did or didn't do but he knows the truth now and he can't take back his decisions. He can't change a thing now. But those of us still here can still make a difference in time by living each day knowing we made the decision to have a personal relationship with Christ. Time is still passing us by everyday. We can catch it and reign it in with the word of God. Look at all the people in history that don't even know that they are a part of what has influenced us. Whether for good or for evil we are influenced by history and influencing history. The Bible is His story. What is yours?

Children of God

George MacDonald's masterful sermon on being a child of God has been my focus of study recently. The doctrine of adoption is widespread, but largely misunderstood, I believe.

Take some time (you'll need it) and enjoy the Scottish genius.

Yes, It is almost Christmas

It is hard to believe that another year is almost at end. Christmas is upon us again. It is suppose to be the most wonderful time of the year. It is different for everyone. Many people celebrate this time of year as just a holiday. I once heard that holiday was really holy day. It makes sense to me. I believe that this can be one of the most Holy Days of the year for those of us that want to honor the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ of Nazareth, God who came in the flesh.
Luke 2:1-20
And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus, that all the world should be taxed.
2(And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria)
3And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city.
4And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem;(because he was of the house and lineage of David:)
5 To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child.
6 And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered.
7 And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.
8 And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.
9 And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them and they were sore afraid.
10 And the angel said unto them ,Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
12 And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.
13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,
14 Glory to God in the Highest and on earth peace, good will toward men.
15 And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us.
16 And they came with haste, and found Mary, and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger.
17 And when they had seen it, they made it known abroad the saying which was told them concerning this child.
18 And all they that heard it wondered at those things which were told them by the shepherds.
19 But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart.
20 And the shepherds returned glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them.

Christmas is important to all mankind because he died for all. He gives everyone the opportunity to receive Christ. His birth was celebrated by the angels themselves. They spread the news to the shepherds. It was proclaimed so that all would know that the Messiah had come. It is a time to praise and worship the Lord. To give God glory for His goodness and to thank Him for His mercy, sending Jesus as Savior. Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year to all. A special Thank you to all of our Armed Forces especially to those serving over seas. May God's protection go with you. May Jesus Christ give you direction and all the guidance that you will need and His Angels surround you and keep you safe.

The Holy Ghost has come not only to be a comforter but as the third person of the Trinity he glorifies Jesus Christ. No one can say that Jesus Christ is God who came in the flesh unless the Holy Spirit reveals it to them. I can say that Jesus Christ is God who came in the flesh but how many people actually beleive it? We can also tell by a person's fruit what their walk with God is really like. We must test the spirits. We can not believe that everyone that says they are of God really are. I believe that The Comforter gives us discernment as well. We need the Comforter so we can know the truth. But there is the deciever, the destroyer, the killer, that is the enemy of God. He wants to steal the truth away from the believer in Jesus Christ. He wants the souls of every man, women, and child. If a person can't say that Jesus Christ of Nazareth came in the flesh then he has been deceived by the great deciever of all time. For those who don't believe they have become the enemy of God. They then belong to Satan. Many Christians today have been decieved into believing any miracle, anyone claimiing to be a Christian is of God and they do not test the spirits. It is crucial for a Christian to test the spirits. You wouldn't fill a bath tub full of hot water then step in. You would first test the water to make sure that it is not too hot. I have been told that everyone is decieved in some way. I believe that when you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior that your eyes are opened to the truth but when you experience the Baptist of the Holy Ghost you have the Holy Ghost in your spirit and he reveals all things to you. You need not be decieved. The Bible says in the last days many will fall away from their faith. How can this happen? The enemy has apparently replaced the truth with lies. I think this will be the next avenue I will explore. I wonder if I should give examples of how I have experienced God in my life??? Let the Lord be magnified!
